Courses for Learner Drivers:

Courses of lessons are designed to be progressive and are based upon your previous experience (if any) so that you can make maximum progress in your learning. All the lesson schedules include lots of reversing, parallel parking, bay parking, turns-in-the- road, and emergency stops. This is because you can only learn to do these well with constant practice.

To assist we have added extra door mirrors which focus on the back wheels, so that you can see exactly where the back of the car is at all times, which makes reversing around a corner ten times easier. Reversing and parking is achieved easily by most of our pupils because of our use of clear and very simple techniques.

Intensive Courses:

Intensive courses will normally take place over a week or two with driving periods of between two and four hours a day. Your driving test will be on the last day. Driving this much with the pressure of the test being so close can be very stressful, and because of this we only recommended a one week intensive course for you if you have considerable driving experience already.

Our twelve hour intensive course is ideal for you if you have taken a test already and need some polishing in order to pass next time.

Longer courses are normally arranged after an assessment of your driving ability. The length of course you will need to be able to pass your test, and your learning requirements, will then be discussed with you in detail.

For pupils who do not live close to us we can organize an intensive course with accommodation for you, so that you can learn to drive in a holiday period or even make learning to drive a holiday in itself. If you would like information on this please do not hesitate to telephone.

Accelerated Courses:

Accelerated Courses are an excellent way for you to pass your test if you have little or no driving experience already. An accelerated course will enable you to learn quickly and effectively over a relatively short period to pass your test. Usually you will drive for four or six hours per week. On an accelerated course it is quite possible for you as a complete beginner to pass your test within 8 weeks. Shorter accelerated courses are also an excellent way to progress if you have been taking lessons already but want to pass your test very soon.

Hourly lessons:

Hourly lessons are the way most people will learn to drive. We are able to teach you on single hour lessons, one-and-a-half-hour lessons, and two-hour lessons. To maximise your learning and reduce the overall number of hours driving you will need to pass your test We recommend that you try to take two-hour lessons whenever possible.  On a two-hour lesson you are able to drive into a test area and drive on the type of roads that you will drive on your test. You will also have plenty of time to practice all the manoeuvres and go over in detail anything you are not sure of, two-hour lessons also have the advantage of improving your ability to concentrate. Two-hour lessons are essential leading up to your test so that you are able to do mock tests, and get used to test routes.
